Do you love to read a good story to engage with a brand or service? You’re not alone.

Neuroscientists have found emotion is the fastest path to the brain. So, if you want your ideas to spread, storytelling is the single best way to transfer that idea to another person.

To entice donors, new members, or potential clients, a good narrative captivates your visitors. It engages them on a personal and emotional level and leads them to your clear call-to-action: to donate, sign up, hire you, or subscribe.

On your website, use storytelling on your mission statement or on your About, Mission or Donation pages. Here, you tell your story, why you’re passionate about what you do and why your readers should listen to you.

How to tell your story:

→ Use open/close story loops. Point to something specific, to pivotal points or to a problem solved for a client.

→ Place your story on the top left side of the webpage. The copy placed there is read 69% of the time.
